Wedding Sentiments Cards

Darkroom Door - Sunday, March 24, 2019

Hi there, it's Heather Telford, happy to be back on the Darkroom Door blog with some wedding themed cards today. I incorporated the Tall Flowers and the Nature Walk set again because they are so beautiful and work so well behind the versatile Wedding Sentiments Stamp.

Instructions:
1. Spritz water generously over hot pressed watercolour paper panel.
2. Ink daisy stamp in wild honey and forest moss distress inks.
3. Stamp onto wet panel, restamp several times without re-inking to get paler images.
4. If images are not bleeding into surrounding area add more water.
5. Blot panel dry with paper towel then let dry completely.
6. Stamp wedding sentiment stamp on vellum in versamark ink, emboss in gold powder
7. Wrap vellum strip around flower panel and attach to card base.

Such detachment of art from society resulted in the counter-reaction from the form of the adventuresome movements. Avant-garde originated in the domain of Modernism, however was a sort of the protesting gesture against it. Modernism, driven by the notion of the autonomy of art, has significantly transformed its norms, yet it has not evolved into the critics of this institution of art itself, also, generally speaking, didn't break up with all the tradition, applying classical genre strategy and subjects.
