Hold onto your seatbelts bloggers as we have LOTS of inspiration to share with you today! We're showing projects using the String Sentiments stamp set:
Here's the story with this stamp set: as you know, I'm a stamper too, and often when I make cards, I just want a simple word or sentiment. But I wanted some that stretched the whole way across a card, like a never ending piece of string! So I sat down one night and drew these words (over and over and over again until I wrote it the way I liked!)
Such a simple idea, but wow, you guys were obviously wanting or needing the same thing as this is one of our most popular stamp sets from this release! I'm over the moon that you love it too!!!
We have lots of ideas to share with you, first up just a quick card to show how it looks using one of them across a card:
The big flower is from Spiral Flowers stamp set. Then the sentiment just stamped in black. Soooo simple!
Here's the same idea from Godelieve:
She's used little flowers from All Occasions stamp set. Here's another:
See... cards in minutes! You could make a whole set of these and give them as gifts. Perfect for teachers, Grandma's and all those who need a lot of cards!
Godelieve stepped it up a notch on this card and used the string senitments as a border on all four sides:
Clever! (Art de Fleur stamp in the centre).
Sarah has made a series of Thank You's in her set:
Again, perfect for gifts and to just have on hand!
How's this for an idea... most of the words have a long stem on them, perfect to create flower stems!

But what about the little flowers that come with the String Sentiments stamp set? Yes, they are smaller versions of the Spiral Flowers! Here's some ways they can be used:
Michelle has created a whole background by stamping them over and over. Then used the string sentiment words to finish the card.
The words look fabulous embossed!
Godelieve has created a tag using the small flowers but with a resist technique. (full details here)
