What a busy week it has been here at Darkroom Door Headquarters! Most of our days are spent manufacturing stamps and packing orders to send out to all of our stockists and distributors. If time permits, I also work on new stamp designs, class ideas, magazine articles and various other facets to the business (accounts and other not so fun stuff). There have also been boxes of donated goodies being sent out to fundraisers, retreats and various other challenges and prize giveaways. We love to help out where we can, but of course this all takes time and resources, and unfortunately we are unable to help every cause and every request, but we do the best we can because we love it when you all get a chance to play with our stuff! If you've ever received a prize or one of our products in a goodie bag, we hope you are enjoying them :)
We've also been busy with moving the whole 'hands on crafting' area in the warehouse back to my own personal craft room at home. We temporarily moved it to the warehouse last year while we sold our home and moved house. Some days it was good to have it at the warehouse when I needed a sample done quickly, but for the whole 6 months that my stuff was there, I didn't create any projects just for fun. I missed just sitting down and creating. The warehouse is BUSY all day every day, and there's never any time to just sit and play. So on the weekend I moved it all back home and have set it all up again in my own space. Already I've created mail art, painted, made handmade envelopes and cut fabric for a new quilt I'm making for my kids! At this rate it looks like I'll have lots of projects to share on the blog in the future too.
In the meantime, thank goodness for our fabulous Creative Team members who have helped by creating lots of projects to share with you! Today I'm going to be sharing a bunch of projects by Godelieve. If you have been reading her blog, you will have seen these projects already, but who can resist taking another look. I am always inspired by Godelieve's cards! Check these out:
This tag above is showing the String Sentiments stamp set! (one of our most popular new stamp sets) More details on Godelieves blog here.
Here's another fabulous way to use the String Sentiments stamps! Just stamp around the edge to create a frame! Simple but so fabulous!!! See this card on Godelieve's blog here.
And I know you want more... here's a set of cards just using one of the sentiments with a little extra stamping from the All Occasions stamp set...
If you need a card in jiffy, these are the perfect stamps to use!
Oh so fabulous! See them on Godelieve's blog here.
Big thanks to Godelieve for sharing all of these fab String Sentiments creations with us!!
