Stitched Threads Frame Stamp Ideas

Contributing artists Teresa Abajo, Suzz Czosek, Anneke De Clerck and Belinda Spencer have all created amazing projects to share with you today using the Stitched Threads Frame Stamp! It's easy to see how versatile this stamp is when you see how each artist has used it. Let's take a look at the cards.

Teresa has created a bright birthday card:

Create a background by scraping Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints over a scrap of cardstock. Using black ink, stamp the Stitched Threads Frame Stamp, then the number '10' using numbers from the Big Numbers set. Stamp the sentiment using a stamp from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set.

Suzz has combined the Stitched Threads Frame with Dashing Gents Rubber Stamps and Texture Stamps:

The background was stamped a few times using the Weathered Stripes Texture Stamp in Ranger Archival Ink Blue Cornflower. Stamp the stripes vertically. Re-ink the stamp and stamp horizontally. This creates a plaid pattern. Position and repeat to be visible after placing frame and image.

Stamp the handsome gent from the Dashing Gents using Ranger Archival Black ink. Cut the image and highlight with a touch of blue. Stamp the Stitched Threads using Ranger Archival Black Ink. Cut frame of stamped image out. Distress inside and out of the frame.

Apply tissue tape in background. Splatter blue ink across surface of card. Stamp numbers from Home Sweet Home Stamp set in top right using black ink. Pop dot gentleman image and place on background. Pop dot frame and place over gent. String twine in and around images. Stamp sentiment from New York Volume 2 stamp set and place along side of frame.

Anneke has created two striking cards using the Stitched Threads Frame:

Stamp the Stitched Threads Frame Stamp with Archival Ink Jet Black. Use a large acrylic block with grid pattern or a stamp positioner to position/centre the frame on the card. Stamp the flowers from Whimsical Words set, heart from the Hearts set and word from Simple Sayings set with the same ink. Color with acrylic markers. Add accents with a white Sharpie.

Stamp the Stitched Threads Frame Stamp with Archival Ink Jet Black. Stamp a banner (Carved Caravans set) in the right upper corner with pink and orange paint. Die cut letters from painted paper and attach to the card. Stamp the word 'Birthday' from Happy Birthday stamp set. Add penwork with a black fineliner.

Belinda has created a unique Christmas card by combining the Stitched Frame stamp with the Stitched Christmas stamp set:

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Apply the Stitched Threads Frame Stamp onto smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink. Cut the cardstock to size, distress and ink the edges with Black Soot Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Using the Jet Black Ink, stamp two Christmas trees from the Stitched Christmas Stamp Set onto this piece. Also add three stars.
2. Apply the Peeled Paint Background Stamp onto another piece of cardstock cut to size. Distress the edges and ink with Black Soot. Layer the frame piece on top of this one. Spray with some water and then add a couple of sprays of Cut Grass Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray. Flick some more water over the top, blot with paper towel and then dry with a heat gun.
3. Stamp another Christmas tree onto a scrap of white cardstock. Spray with water and a little of the Cut Grass Ink Spray. Dry with a heat gun, cut out and add to the frame with 3D foam. Flick a little black paint over the top of the card.
4. Stamp a sentiment onto white cardstock. Cut out, distress the edges and ink with Mowed Lawnd Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Add to the card front with 3D foam. Add the whole card front to a black cardstock base.
