Hi there! It's Jane Clark here today with two cards using the new Springtime Sprouts Line Art Stamp!
Instructions:
Stamp the Springtime Sprouts image twice on a panel of watercolour card using StazOn jet black ink as shown. Colour one flower at a time - paint a flower with clean water then add a light shade of yellow watercolour paint to shade it. Add some orange shade of watercolour paint over the top but stop short of the top edge of the bud, repeat with darker shades of orange then finish by using red, stopping shorter with each application, this will give a lovely blended effect. Colour the remaining buds the same way.
Dip a paintbrush in clean water and dabbed it down one side of each bud, allow it to dry, this will give a diluted water effect. Create a watery background effect by firstly adding a wash of light blue watercolour paint, then add a darker shade of blue amongst the buds, while the piece is still wet add some purple watercolour paint around the buds and blend them together. Keep blending and adding more blue and purple shades of watercolour paint until you are happy with the result, a few layers will be needed to create the loose watercolour effect. Let dry completely.
Dab clean water in a few areas on the background using a paintbrush, allow to dry, this will create a watery effect. Colour the stamens using a white gel pen, stamp and white emboss a sentiment in the bottom left-hand corner then add a white enamel heart next to it.

Die-cut the watercoloured panel using two frame die-cuts, layer it on white card using mounting/foam tape.
Carefully stamp a small sentiment in the bottom left-hand corner inside the frame with black ink. Stamp Springtime Sprouts twice on white card using VersaMark ink and white emboss them. Colour the flowers with pencils then add shadows to the bottom of the flowers edges, shading right over the stamens using a light grey mark. Fussy-cut one image and add it inside the frame using mounting/foam tape, allow some of the buds to overhang the edge of the frame as shown.
Trim the other Springtime Buds image into three separate pieces, arrange them to the card front using one or two layers of mounting/foam tape as pictured. Glue three irridescent sequins inside the frame to finish.
