Happy Friday everyone!! We have some great inspiration to kick start your weekend... who's up for a little Skater action? Check out our Skater stamp set:
I'm always in need of some hip stamps to use for cards suitable for young boys or teens and these stamps are perfect! With three different poses along with a bunch of words in graffiti style, there's lots of different ways they can be used. Let's take a look at some projects...
Details from Teresa:
The card front for this card came from a 12 x 12 sheet from the Kaiser 'Attitude' range. I simply stamped a skater onto kraft cardstock, cut him out and mounted him in the centre of the white circle. I then added a length of chain for extra interest. The word is stamped with white ink - love that it looks like graffitti!

Details from Rachel:
There's so many colourful skateboards out there these days so I wanted to create a card with lots of different coloured boards. I know my son always loves checking out the different colours in the skateboard store - who wouldn't love a card showing the possibilites!! I used Archival inkpads for the skateboards (L-R: Vermillion, Monarch Orange, Saffron, Manganese Blue, Emerald Green). The background texture was created using the wrinkled distress technique - just crumple the paper, swipe some Distress Ink over the top, spriz with water and blend the colour out. Lots of fun! I added a stamped tag with a ball chain to finish it off.

Details from Teresa:
I stamped the words onto the cardbase, and then cut a circle above it in the patterned paper. All edges are distressed and sponged with brown ink.

Details from Rachel:
The chipboard tag was covered in Orange Yellow Precious Metal Colour paint, then I stamped over the top in Achival Jet Black. I stamped the 'Skater' word several times on the bottom of the card, sometimes not re-inking so it gave a lighter shadow effect.

Details from Teresa:
The strip of numbers was mounted onto a strip of chipboard, and where it overhangs the card I strung some ball chain with some tags. This makes the card a little more tactile and interactive.
I absolutely LOVE the cards Teresa has made with the Skater set!! Sure, mine aren't so bad too - but Teresa definitely rocked this set for sure!! I'm sure it's inspired all of you too!
Hope you all have a creative weekend :)
