Hi, it's Belinda Spencer here today to share three cards featuring the gorgeous new Sitting Cat Eclectic Stamp. This is such a cute stamp and I have used it in three very different ways.
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of kraft cardstock 15cm x 22cm. Fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a piece of smooth white cardstock 10.5cm x 14.5cm. Apply the Abstract Triangles Background Stamp to this piece using Jet Black Archival Ink. Stick down on the card base.
3. Cut another piece of white cardstock 9.5cm x 13.5cm. Select the zebra stamp from the Wild Africa Vol. 1 Stamp Set and ink just the grassy area with Leaf Green Archival Ink. Stamp at the bottom of this cardstock piece. Apply some other weeds from the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set using the same Leaf Green ink. Use an ink blending tool to apply some Peeled Paint Distress Ink to this area.
4. Apply Aquamarine Archival Ink to the Scratches Background Stamp and stamp in the 'sky' area of the card front. Use the ink blending tool to apply a combination of blue Distress Inks. Flick some water over the surface and allow to dry. Stick down on the Abstract Triangles piece.
5. Stamp the seaweed from the Under The Sea Stamp Set onto scrap white cardstock using the Leaf Green ink. Fussy cut and add to the card front. Use Distress Inks to stamp two flowers from the Gardening Vol. 2 Stamp Set. Fussy cut and add to the card.
6. Stamp the Sitting Cat onto scrap white cardstock using the Jet Black ink. Colour in with watercolour pencils and use a wet paintbrush to blend the pencil marks. Dry with a heat gun before fussy cutting. Add to the card front using 3D foam.
7. Stamp three of the smallest butterfly from the Butterflies Stamp Set on white cardstock using the Jet Black ink. Colour with watercolour pencils as per the cat. Once dry, fussy cut and add to the card.
