Hello, Joy here today with a super fun and really quick Christmas card for you. So if you are tight for time in getting those Christmas cards completed, well this one is for you!
Simple stamping of some inchies out onto some scrap card stock, using various inks, I chose to use the stamp set Christmas Inchies, stamping out the 25th Dec and the Holly inchies that are within this set, stamping in black for boldness and a soft green to add a different tone.
Punching these out using a 1 inch square punch and setting aside to dry.
I then took a stamp out of the Christmas Reindeer stamp set, to me resembled more of a postage theme and stamped in some red ink, also from this set I chose to add another black feature to the card by stamping out the word Believe onto scrap card stock, trimming out with trimmer.
So to put the card together, I started with the pine branch that was from the Yuletide Vol 2. stamp set, stamping out with some Peeled Paint distress ink, giving it that richness that you see in pines, I then placed all of the cut out pieces around this, adding dimension by using foam tape to give height.
I love the simple clean look to this card, but it did need 2 more things to finish the card off, so adding some twine bows to the pine branch and some clear gems to the base of the word Believe.
I am sure that I will be going back and creating more of these types of cards, because let's face it for me I am always running out of time to get them in the mail to loved ones.
