Hi there! It’s Rachel Greig here today sharing some ideas using the Paint Drips Eclectic Stamp! This stamp is so fun to use, especially as it can create a lot of different effects depending on what inks or paint you use. It’s also very versatile as it doesn’t always need to be drips, as you’ll see in my last card!
Instructions:
1.Stamp the Paint Drips Eclectic Stamp onto kraft card stock using Broken China Distress Oxide ink pad. The Distress Oxide ink reacts a little with kraft cardstock, giving a really cool milky effect.
2. Stamp Create Art sentiment from the Artist stamp set underneath using Archival Jet Black ink pad.
3. Mount stamped panel onto black card stock and then onto a folded light blue card.
4. Colour some old book text with a variety of Distress Oxide ink pads and tear to create two pieces to adhere to the card with gel medium.

Archival Ink pad: Jet Black

The Paint Splats stamp also works really well to create long borders for art journals or scrapbook pages. You can stamp it along the top to create normal downward drips, however here I have stamped from the side just for something different.
Instructions:
1. Create a background in your art journal with paints and ink sprays. I’ve also used some stencils to create patterns.
2. Make some marks with black and white paint pens - the more random you are the better! Just experiment and have fun, that’s the beauty of art journals.
3. Stamp the Paint Drips down the side of the page using Archival Jet Black ink pad. This is an oil based ink pad and will dry over paint and ink sprays.
4. Now your page is ready to add your journaling or other images and words.

This next card is a play on words, inspired by the funny short film Lava that you can watch here. (I love this film!) The Paint Drips also reminded me of a lava lamp, so I had fun making this card!
Instructions:
1. Ink up the Paint Drips stamp using yellow and orange Distress Ink colours. Mist very lightly with water and stamp onto white cardstock. Repeat twice to cover the length of the card stock.
2. Stamp the little heart from All Occasions Stamp Set a few times above some of the lava so it looks like little lava hearts are floating above.
3. Stamp the sentiment using letters from Alphabet Medley Stamp Set with Archival Jet Black ink pad.
4. Adhere stamped panel to a folded white card with foam adhesive to complete.
Supplies used:
Darkroom Door Paint Drips Eclectic Stamp
Darkroom Door All Occasions Rubber Stamp Set
Darkroom Door Alphabet Medley Rubber Stamp Set
Distress Ink: Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon
Archival Ink: Jet Black
