We have some great ideas to share today using the Numbers Background Stamp!
This stamp was designed in a way that it can be used either horizontally or vertically. The numbers are mixed up in different sizes and can be used as a whole background or you can also cut out the numbers to be used by themselves. This stamp would also look fantastic in melted ultra thick embossing powder as a texture. So many ideas!!
Michelle Loffler and Vicky Fernando have some great ideas for using this stamp... take a look:
For this card I started off by inking the Numbers Background stamp with Versamark ink & heat embossing with clear embossing powder on white cardstock. I then used the following ink colours Marvy Matchables (brilliant yellow) Distress ink (spiced marmalade, broken china), Adirondack (wild plum, lettuce) using a make-up sponge to layer the colours over the image. I slowly tore around the image to give a nice white edge to contrast with all the colours. I added the double-sided ribbons (Craft Queen) & the tag stamped with “Happy Birthday” (Full Bloom Vol 1 stamp set) in Adirondack’s wild plum & Dots Background Stamp in Adirondack’s lettuce, distressing the edges & inking with Adirondack’s lettuce. I used some Tiny twine (Craft Queen) to tie the tag in place.

Stamp Numbers Background onto kraft card using Distress Embossing Ink and emboss with Gold embossing powder. Sponge edged of card with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
Stamp Tick Tock quote onto size 4 buff tag with Sepia ink. Tear along the bottom and ink edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
Stamp clock (Tick Tock stamp set) with Sepia ink and punch out using a 1.5" circle punch. Add to card with foam adhesive.

I stamped the Numbers Background Stamp onto patterned paper with Coffee Archival ink before distressing with Mustard ink and a Ranger Ink Blending Tool. I also dabbed the edge of an acrylic block direct on a black inkpad and stamped randomly three times a second generation print to add some texture to the edges. I foam mounted this beautiful lady who happens to be my favorite Photobooth image and finished off with adding the wordstrips (Paris & Prague Vol2), ribbon and photo corners.

For this card I inked the Numbers Background stamp with Versamark ink, & embossed it using JudiKins embossing powder (kaleidoscope) which gave the image a beautiful holographic effect, & using a metal ruler I tore the edges off to fit the front of my white base card. I then added a strip of white fabric (from my stash) & some pink satin seam binding (from Craft Queen). I added the cute bear image (Baby Montage) which I coloured using a pink & a brown watercolour pencil (lifting colour from the tip of the pencils using a soft watercolour paint brush) The bear image was added to some white fabric & stuck into place using some foam tape.
Hope these projects have given you a few ideas on how the Numbers Background Stamp can be used!
And a big thanks to Vicky and Michelle for sharing their projects with us today! :)
Happy stamping!!
