Hi stampers! Today we are sharing projects using the Marbling Texture Stamp!
First is a quick and easy card by Rachel Greig:
Instructions:
1. Stamp the Marbling Texture Stamp onto white card using Cornflower Archival Ink Pad.
2. Die cut the banner from Tim Holtz Banner Die using white cardstock. Stamp 'Happy Birthday' from Happy Birthday Rubber Stamp Set onto the banner using Cornflower Archival Ink. Fold the banner and only adhere the ends so the middle pops up.
3. Adhere panel onto light blue card, then onto a folded white card to complete! This card would also look great in any other colour!
Anna-Karin has created a quick and vibrant card using autumn colours, but this card could work for many different occasions.
The new Marbling Texture stamp is such a fun stamp and works great both as a background as a focal point. I made it the star of this card by stamping it three times on different panels. It is fun to experiment with different colour combinations on this stamp.
Instructions:
1. Ink up the stamp with different Distress Inks, you can also use Distress Markers if you'd like. Mist quite generously with water and stamp on watercolour paper.
2. Leave the ink to dry and magic happens. I love the unpredictable nature of watercolour stamping. You will never get the same result twice.
3. I distressed the edges of the panels and mounted them on vellum and on a second piece of watercolour paper. Everything was mounted on folded white cardstock. The sentiment was stamped on a Tattered Curvy Banner and glued to the card.
Anneke De Clerck has created two different cards using the Marbling Texture Stamp with Distress Paints.
Instructions:
1. Make rough brush strokes on kraft paper with white paint.
2. Stamp with the Marbling texture stamp using Distress Paints Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.
3. Stamp the largest stamp from the Happy Birthday set on top with Archival Ink Jet Black.
4. Make three cross-stitches with embroidery floss.
5. Finish off with a paper clay heart and a sculpture flower.
6. Adhere the finished panel to a white card base
