Hi there, I'm Heather Telford and I am excited to be sharing some scenic cards today featuring mountains and trees from the new Majestic Mountains Rubber Stamp Set. I love tree stamps so I this set was a must for me. All my scenes are snowy because I am heading into winter soon here in Canada but I can see myself creating with these stamps year round.
Instructions:
1. Splatter masking fluid over cold pressed watercolour paper. Let dry
2. Place torn post-it note mask across panel. Stamp mountain several times in weathered wood distress ink so the base of stamp overlaps the post-reit.
3. Paint sky in dusty concord and tumbled glass distress stains. Add small amount of mustard seed stain close to mountain edges. Dry panel.
4. Place another torn post it note across panel below base of mountains. Stamp trees in chipped sapphire distress ink so trunks of base of trees overlap post it note edge.
5. Blend stamped trees with water to make trees look more solid.
6. Paint a line of weathered wood distress stain along base of trees to create a snow bank.
7. Paint diluted weathered wood stain into foreground of scene.
8. Remove masking fluid.
9. Stamp sentiment from Yuletide Greetings Stamp Set in chipped sapphire ink

Distress Ink: Chipped Sapphire
Distress Stains: weathered wood, dusty concord, tumbled glass, mustard seed
Masking fluid
Cold pressed watercolour paper
Instructions:
1. Splatter masking fluid over hot pressed watercolour paper. Let dry
2. Partially ink mountain stamp in weathered wood distress stain so base is uneven. Stamp across lower half of panel
3. Stamp small tree repeatedly in front of mountains in memento olive grove ink including second generation stamping to fill the space.
4. Stamp large tree in memento olive grove ink overlapping small trees.
5. Paint sky in stormy sky distress stain taking care to paint to the edge of mountains and tree tops. Dry completely
6. Remove masking fluid
7. Add sentiment from Yuletide Greetings Stamp Set in versafine olympia green ink.

Distress Stains: weathered wood, stormy sky
Masking fluid
Hot pressed watercolour paper
Instructions:
1. Cut circle mask from frisket film and attach to hot pressed watercolour panel
2. Splatter masking fluid over panel. Let dry.
3. Paint water over whole panel.
4. Paint stormy sky distress stain over panel keeping colour darkest in the top half.
5. While panel is still damp stamp large tree from Majestic Mountains set in memento northern pine ink repeatedly over panel using first and second generation stamping for dark and lighter images.
6. Remove moon mask and stamp one more tree to overlap moon.
7. Dry completely then remove masking fluid.
8. Add sentiment from Yuletide Greetings Stamp Set in versafine olympia green ink
