Hi, it's Godelieve today, sharing a banner that's made with some Line Art Stamps. I chose to do my project in neutral colors and gave it a distressed look.
First I applied a layer of gesso on kraft papers from packaging, using an old credit card. I did all the stamping with StazOn ink.
I combined the Flower Lady with words from the Full Bloom Vol 2 set, the Wilderness Vol 1 set, and the Flourish Texture stamp. I also stamped some more flowers to cut them out. I added white accents to the flowers using a pencil, before stapling them on. This piece was finished off with twine, gauze and staples. I attached a twig from our garden to the top.
The Tropical Lady was combined with stamps from the Photography stamp set and the 1920's Chic set. I also used the Flourish Texture Stamp here. This piece was finished off with machine stitching, gauze, staples, Tim Holtz Roses Trimmings and buttons and a twig at the top.
The Crafty Lady Stamp was combined with a favorite quote from the Stamper set and words from the Artist set. More stitching here and Tim's Roses Trimmings, staples, twine and the twig at the top.
The folds, creases and torn paper add to the distressed look. I attached the pieces to long piece of twine, to create a banner.
