Hi there stampers! We have some fantastic projects to share with you today using the Kombi Photo Stamp:
This Kombi is a 1967 split screen, which just oozes of summer days, camping, exploring and all things retro! As a photo stamp it can be used in so many ways! Sarah Schwerin, Anneke De Clerck and Rachel Greig have some great projects to share with us. Let's take a look:
To create the background I stamped the Scratches background stamp onto white Specialty Stamping Paper with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Once dry I sponged over the whole piece with Antique linen distress ink. I then added some Tumbled Glass and Vintage Photo Distress inks around the edges.
The image of the surfer looking out into the sea is a Darkroom Door Seaside Photochips. I distressed the edges with a distressing tool and adhered it to my background.
I stamped the Kombi stamp using Jet Black Archival Ink onto SpecialtyStamping paper. This paper is great for getting clear crisp images fromyour detailed stamps, or stamps with large sold areas like this Kombistamp. I coloured the image with Distress markers (Tumbled glass for theKombi and Pumice Stone for the wheels and bumper bar). I cut the imageout and adhered it to the front of my card with double sided foammounting tape.
I cut "sun, sand, surf" from the Seaside Wordstripand inked around the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I mountedit onto a piece of dusty blue cardstock (the same cardstock that I usedfor the card base) and adhered it to the front of my card.

I wanted to create a 3D effect with my card, so I stamped the whole Kombi Photo Stamp with Olive green Archival ink onto cream cardstock. Then stamped the Kombi again onto another piece of cream card using Vermillion Archival Ink. Trimmed around the red Kombi, including inside the windows and mounted it on top of the original image with foam adhesive. Sponged a little Gathered Twigs and Peeled Paint Distress Ink around the edges. Mounted it onto dark brown cardstock using antique brads. Adhere to folded card to complete!

Here I stamped the Plaid Background Stamp with Distress Ink 'Mowed Lawn'.
Did the stamping of the Kombi stamp with the same ink and added some extra ink with a blending tool.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Made the background with a template and Dylusions Spray Ink.
Stamped the Kombi van with Versafine 'Crimson Red'. Added the alphabet stickers (Kaisercraft).

For this card I used the World Map background stamp.
First I stamped a pattern with a home made stamp and Distress Ink.
Made a garland with washi tape.
I stamped the Kombi van with Archival Ink 'Cobalt'. I cut out the windows of the van and put a layer of vellum behind.
Stamps: Darkroom Door: 'Kombi' Photo Stamp & 'World Map' Background Stamp
Home carved stamp: 3,5 x 1,5 cm
Archival Ink: Cobalt
Distress Inkpads: Weathered Wood, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers
