Hello Stampers! Today we'd like to celebrate the 4th birthday of Topflight Stamps, one of our fabulous stockists in USA! To celebrate, we've teamed up with some great designers to showcase birthday cards using the unique products available at Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us and see all the beautiful talent from this group of amazing designers! There's prizes too, so be sure to check out all the details below! If you're on the hop already, you should have arrived here from Autumn Clark's blog. If this is your first stop on the hop, we've linked all the blogs below so you can start from the beginning!
Donna, the owner of Topflight Stamps has become a wonderful friend to us here at Darkroom Door. We are so thrilled Topflight Stamps are celebrating their 4th birthday and I've had a lot of fun creating these cards to celebrate! The stamps used on these cards are all available at Topflight Stamps too. Go shopping for Darkroom Door stamps on their website here!
1. Adhere a strip of washi tape down the left side of a folded white card base. I have used AALL & Create Washi Tape in these cards, however you could use any type of washi tape that fits the theme and colour palette of your cards.
2. Stamp two postmarks from the Global Postmarks Stamp Set on the right side of the card using Archival Jet Black Ink Pad.
3. Trim kraft cardstock to 110mm x 85mm. Swipe Dina Wakley Buff Paint over the kraft cardstock, leaving the edges organic so you can see the brushstrokes. Allow to dry before stamping either the Cupcake, Candles or glasses over the top using Archival Jet Black Ink Pad.
4. Ink the edges of the kraft cardstock using the Archival Jet Black Ink Pad.
5. Adhere the panels to the front of the cards with foam adhesive to give them some dimension.
6. Stamp the Celebrate Sentiment Stamp onto black cardstock with Distress Embossing Ink and emboss with White Embossing Powder. Trim the sentiments you would like to use and adhere to the cards with double sided tape.
I have created a video to show you the entire process of making these cards. You can watch it here:
To see all the other projects in the blog hop, follow along here and if you get lost you can always start at the Topflight Stamp Blog!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without prizes! Topflight Stamps is giving one lucky winner a $100 Gift Certificate to the store. But wait, there is more, each stop on the hop has an additional $25 Gift Certificate up for grabs for some lucky commenter. For a chance to win, make sure to visit every stop on the hop and leave a comment by March 29th 11:59 EST. Winners will be announced on the Topflight Stamps blog on March 31st. Good Luck!
Thanks again for hopping along with us! We all hope you have enjoyed the inspiration!! Now it's time to get stamping! :)

Brenda Becknell on 28 March 2021Love the stamping over the white paint on Kraft!
Mary Herman on 28 March 2021Yes, Rachel, sometimes the card that arrives different from the rest is the STANDOUT! I have been planning on using kraft card for my cards, but then I have not and went back to the white. Now, after seeing your celebration cards I want to try the kraft even more! Your tip on stamping the sentiment with one of the colors used in the washi tape to bring the emphasis back to the black and white is one I will remember on my next cards! My washi tape collection hasn't been getting much use lately, but now you have inspired me with your tip and I will go upstairs to my craft room and see what colors of embossing powder I need to buy to match some of those tapes I have for Easter! I love that tape with the black and white circles!!!
