Hi, it is Godelieve Tijskens here today, sharing two cards with the Fine Butterflies Stamp Set. It is great to see my drawings turned into rubber stamps again! The Fine Butterflies can be used on their own, but some of them match with stamps from the Butterflies set, as shown on the sample below
On this card, a large butterfly stamp from the set was used.
Instructions:
1. Apply a thin coat of gesso to bookpaper using a plastic card and let dry
2. Stamp the large butterfly from the Fine Butterflies set twice on this page, using Archival Ink Potting Soil.
3. Colour both butterflies with diluted Distress Paint Rusty Hinge.
4. Paint a blue background around one butterfly using diluted Distress Paint Salty Ocean. Let dry and cut to size. Ink the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo
5. Cut the other butterfly out and ink the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo using an ink blending tool.
6. Stamp and heat emboss the butterfly once more onto vellum. Cut out. You can try to keep the antennae, but it is not really necessary.
7. Staple the butterflies together onto the bookpaper panel
8. Adhere a strip of cardstock, large enough to stamp the words. I have chosen a stamp from the new Simple Sayings Vol 2 set, stamped with Archival Ink Potting Soil.
9. Mat onto brown cardstock and glue onto a cream card.
10. Add Enamel dots as finishing touches.

4. Stamp words from the Wildflowers Vol 1 set, using black Archival ink.
5. Color the butterflies in with pencils.
6. Use a paper distresser on the edges, glue onto cream cardstock.
