Hello, It’s Belinda Spencer here with you today to share a couple of cards I created featuring the fabulous new ‘Filmstrip’ Filmstrip Stamp. I have teamed this stamp with the gorgeous Leaves Border Stamp to create two fun cards.
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of black cardstock measuring 18.5cm x 21cm. Fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a piece of smooth white cardstock measuring 10cm x 18cm. Stick down on the card base.
3. Apply Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to the Leaves Border Stamp. Spritz the stamp with water and stamp on the card front about one third of the way up. Press the Mowed Lawn ink pad onto an acrylic block, pick up the colour with a soft wet paintbrush and flick the colour over the card front. Set aside to dry.
4. Stamp the Filmstrip Stamp onto an extra piece of smooth white cardstock using Jet Black Ranger Archival Ink. Cut out the filmstrip including the inside of the second rectangle from the left.. Apply the Mowed Lawn ink to some leaves from the Tropical Leaves Stamp Set. Spritz the stamps with water and stamp onto the extra cardstock. Allow to dry and then fussy cut each image. Add two of the leaves to the right hand side of the card. Add the filmstrip to the card using 3D foam. Add the remaining leaves in the cut out area of the filmstrip.
5. Use the Mowed Lawn ink to stamp the sentiment and some stars. Fussy cut each element and add to the card.
