We have a bumper blog post for you today featuring projects using the new Doilies stamp set!
Godelieve has created a beautiful card and tag set combined with images from the Love Letters Collection:
Details from Godelieve:
This doilies set is fantastic!
I stamped the doilies with Ranger Archival ink #Coffee on grey cardstock to create a card and a tag.
Then I stitched images from the Love Letters filmstrips Vol 2 to the backgrounds, I distressed the edges first.
I heat embossed the doilies on vellum using Ranger Seafoam White embossing powder and cut them out. They are used to finish off the card and tag.
I folded over one of the doilies to add to the top of the tag:
There was 1 vellum doily left, I used it on a coaster with a tealight:
Michelle has created a bookmark with the Doilies stamps and Photobooth images:
Details from Michelle:
After stamping a small doily stamp on patterned paper three times, I used the circle punch to punch out the centres. Be sure to save the punched out circles.
I stuck the Photobooth images behind the patterned paper so the doilies became their frames then I matted it onto cardstock.
I used the punched out circles for a tab at the top of the bookmark and finished with ribbon and foam tape.
Here's a card from Teresa using a single Doily stamp, Love Letters Montage image and the Criss Cross Background Stamp. Love the crinkle ribbon too!
And last, but certainly not least - a layered and bright card from Michelle where she's turned the Doilies into a flower garden:
Details from Michelle:
I stamped a large and small doily on pink patterned paper with pink ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I did the same with green ink on green paper.
I stamped a pink and two green doilies. I cut out a pink and green doily with a circle punch and I fussy cut the other green one and cut the centre of it out with a circle punch.
I assembled each flower using a variety of foam tape and contrasting flower centres. You can see the layers here:
To resemble grass, I stamped a large doily in green three times and fussy cut before assembling.
To finish I used a variety of green pen strokes for a border and flower stems then mounted on a variety of cardstock and finished with the sentiment.
What a great assortment of projects using the one stamp set! Just shows how versatile the Doilies stamps are! They can be used in so many different colours and different ways. Thanks so much to Godelieve, Michelle and Teresa for sharing your amazing projects with us!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
