Hi stamping folk! It's Teresa here sharing some samples I made with the new Crayons Eclectic Stamp.
I have to admit, I went a little crazy! I guess this stamp just made me happy :) Once I set up my big 12 x 12 Memory Misti, it was just easy to stamp up a few of these crayons in a row so I had a few to colour in. I used Archival Jet Black ink so that I could use water based colouring media without having to worry about the ink smudging. I used Ecoline Brush Marker pens and a water brush to colour, but you could use Distress Markers, Distress Crayons or even the new Scribble Sticks.
For this first sample, I coloured everything using grey and black and then added a pop of colour. I stamped the Crayons onto a colourful piece gel printed paper I had in my stash, then cut out just the one crayon and glued it in place. The sentiment was stamped using the Alphabet Medley stamp set.

This next sample is certainly colourful. I chose a bright colour scheme and coloured each crayon. I stamped the sentiment, cut it into strips and mounted each one with black cardstock before adhering to the card front with foam mounting tape. Mounting it up actually allows the eye to peek underneath the words slightly so that the crayons are more visible.

This next sample is another that uses some gel printed paper from my stash. I used only part of the Stand Out Quote stamp.

This next card uses a custom colour combination - I asked the intended recipient for her favourite colours and made the card with these in mind. I love that we can make someone feel special with a handmade card!
