It's that time of year again... the silly season is just about here, so for those who celebrate Christmas, we have some long Christmas Sentiments for you! Our original String Senitments proved to be a HUGE hit and we had many many requests for a Christmas version. So here it is - just for you!
The great thing about these stamps is they are long enough to go across a whole 6" card front. Just like Godelieve has done here:
Godelieve has also used the smaller stamps as one long strip too. These little stamps can be used just like this, or you can cut them apart so you can use them individually. Your choice :)
Here's some more info from Godelieve on this card: I stamped with Versamark ink on smooth cardstock (Bristol from Canson) and heat embossed with clear. Sponged with Peeled Paint and Barn Door Distress Ink. White torn edges.
The other cool thing you can do with this stamp set is use the words across tags and other smaller items. They become so versatile when you can also use them for smaller projects too!
I've just stamped the sentiment across a smaller tag, and used it as a gift tag.
For this next tag, I've just used 'Merry' instead of the complete Merry Christmas. There's quite a few sentiments that you could single out words with.
Goelieve has another cool idea... she's stamped the sentiments onto clothes pegs! Check these out:
Details from Godelieve:
I used Ranger Archival Ink #Olive to ink up the stamps, and rolled the clothespins over the stamps.
A gingham bow adds a festive touch. The clothespins can be used to decorate the tree, the table, a napkin, or as gift bag toppers.
Hope you like these ideas with the Christmas Sentiments! Who knew this stamp set was so versatile?
