To kick start the week we have some great ideas using the Christmas Inchies stamp set:
Yes folks, not too long until Christmas, so it's a great time to start sharing some more Christmas ideas with you! First up, let's talk about the stamp set itself. It's made up of 24 different images all one inch in size. You have the choice of cutting out all of the stamps separately, keeping it as a whole (big) stamp or here's another option... I cut this stamp set into two stamps only. Like this:
By cutting the stamp set in half (4 images across by 3 images high), you then have two stamps that are the same size as a Photo Stamp, which makes them easy to stamp and keeps the inchies all lined up nicely.
If you only want a couple of inchies or just one strip, you can just stamp what you need and trim them out properly after they've been stamped.
Another tip - can you see the inchies that say 'Joy' and 'Merry Christmas'? We have placed those inside a set of 9, so you can make cards with the sentiment in the middle:
The photo above just shows them stamped onto coloured backgrounds. It would also look great if the centre was stamped in a different colour and mounted on 3D foam to make it stand out even further. Loads of possibilities!!!
Here's some other fab ideas using the Christmas Inchies...
Godelieve stamped the inchies with Ranger Archival #Olive and used decorative scissors to cut the postage stamp edges to make little faux postage stamps. Love this idea!!
Godelieve used glassine strips, to give the card a collector's album look. LOVE this!!!
For this card Godelieve added stamps from the Christmas Reindeer set,Christmas Sentiments, Dear Santa Vol 2 and Notre Dame. Doesn't it look awesome :)
Here's some more ideas from Godelieve:
Details from Godelieve:
For the kraft set I stamped the inchies with Ranger Archival Ink #Coffee by putting the cardstock onto the inked stamps and using a brayer to get a good impression. I used a punch to cut the inchies.
For this card I used the Christmas WordBlock Stamp, stamped with Memories #White. I also used the little star from the All Occasions set. Added the Christmas Inchies on the right hand side.
For this next one I used the Dots Background, stamped in Memories #White.
Added a Christmas Sentiment along the bottom and a Christmas Inchie!
For the tag and little card, I used the Star Background, and stamps from theChristmas Reindeer set.
Fantastic ideas to get you started with your Christmas crafting!! Hope this has inspired you... especially as there's only around 63 days until Christmas!! Yikes!
Happy stamping!
