Today we're going to take a little stroll through Central Park as we share some new projects using the Central Park Photo Stamp!
This is such a serene and beautiful image, perfect for so many projects, whether it's used as the main focal point or as a subtle background, there's lots you can do with this stamp! Vicky Fernando, Lynda Drynan and Rachel Greig have some great projects to share with us. Let's take a look:
Stamp Central Park onto white cardstock with Archival Jet Black ink. Sponge the trees with Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. Sponge the path with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Mount onto brown cardstock and distress the edges with a paper distresser. Adhere to folded green card. Add some Venetian Wordstrips to finish it off.

I started by stamping the Central Park photo stamp onto a book page using Coffee Archival ink, I then layered this to blue card, distressing the edges & adding the tiny staples (Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher). I stamped the balloon, the gentleman & the train sign (All from Steampunk Stamp Set) as well as the tiny wings using Archival ink (jet black) all mounted with foam tape.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stamped the Central Park onto manila card using Archival ink (jet black) & coloured the trees with a white chalk pencil, I then stamped the image again with same ink onto white card, & punched a circle out, using watercolour pencils to add colour to the image. I added the 3 green card panels (distressing the edges & inking with black ink) & also distressed the base card (manila card) inking the edges slightly. I added the tiny twine in 3 colours (Navy, cream, & white, from Craft Queen), as well as the words from the New York wordstrip (distressing the edges too).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I started by stamping Central Park onto kraft coloured card, using StazOn ink (iris), trimming the top & bottom edges with a pair of decorative scissors. I dry-embossed the image using a Sizzix embossing folder, & used some Inka Gold (silver) to highlight the embossing. I then stuck the image onto a purple ATC sized (2.5”x3.5”) background card & stapled it into place using the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I added the word from the Wilderness Wordstrip layering over a piece of brown burlap.

1. On piece of gloss cardstock apply Sunset Orange, Lettuce, Sunshine Yellow and Citrus Alcohol Inks using a felt applicator. Then apply Silver Mixative using felt applicator.
2. When dry, stamp Central Park onto the coloured alcohol ink background using Archival Jet Black ink. Trim and mount onto black cardstock and then onto green cardstock.
3. To create an easel card, fold the front of an A6 cardfront in half. Adhere the Central Park image to the bototm half of the card front only. This allows the card front to fold in half and sit like an easel. Using leftover cardstock, create the 'stopper' for the Central Park image to rest on as shown.
4. Add words from the Wilderness Wordstrip and New York Wordstrip to complete!
Hope you have enjoyed these ideas using the Central Park Photo Stamp! A big thanks to Vicky and Linda for sharing their ideas with us :)
Happy stamping!
