Hello, Belinda Spencer here again today with my last instalment of projects using the Cacti Stamp Set! Today I have 3 cards to share.
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of red cardstock 14cm x 20cm. Fold in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a piece of smooth white cardstock 9.5cm x 13.5cm. Apply the Crackle Texture Stamp to this piece using Distress Embossing Ink. Heat set with clear embossing powder. Spritz a little water over the background. Press the Fired Brick ink pad onto an acrylic block. Use a soft wet paintbrush to pick up the colour and add to the card background. Also flick some colour over the surface to create little droplets of colour. Dry with a heat gun. Stamp some 'XO's' over the background using the same ink. Ink the edges of this piece with the Fired Brick ink and stick down on the card base.
3. Choose the roundish cactus in the pot from the stamp set. Apply embossing ink to the stamp and then Lucky Clover for the cactus and Spiced Marmalade for the pot. Stamp on a separate piece of white cardstock and heat set with clear embossing powder. Repeat this process with the separate pot stamp and another cactus. Add a slit to the top of the pot so that the cactus can be slipped in. Add the cacti to the card using 3D foam.
4. Apply embossing ink and Fired Brixk ink to a small heart from the Hearts stamp set. Stamp on white cardstock and heat set with clear embossing powder. Paint a little Fired Brick ink over the heart as in Step 2. Add to the cactus pot using 3D foam.
5. Stamp the sentiment on white cardstock using Jet Black Archival Ink. Cut out the individual words. Ink the edges with the Spiced Marmalade ink and add to the card.
