Our Creative Team have made some absolutely gorgeous projects with this stamp! Let's take a look:

This stunning card was created by Suzanne Czosek.

Details from Suzz: This card was a quick and easy card as the stamp provides the most beautiful set of images already laid out in a way to quickly create a card. I stamped the image using black water resistant ink on white cardstock.

I then spent time coloring in all the images and backgrounds with a mix of orange, green, blue, and yellow watercolor pencils blended with the waterbrush.

After I had colored every square and let it dry I added a few highlights on the butterflies using a white gel pen. I then took an exacto knife over my cutting mat and cut out the wings of the butterfly to add depth.

I stamped the No. 36 from the Vintage Office Set using black ink on white cardstock to add a touch of whimsy. After that it was a matter of distressing the edges and layering it onto white cardstock on a white card base.

Belinda Spencer has created a gorgeous set of tags:

Details from Belinda: I covered each tag with white cardstock stamped with the fabulous Gazette Background Stamp. Next In applied Viva Décor Croco Crackling Colour in either Transparent Yellow, Green or Red. Once that was dry, I applied more colour with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Tattered Angels Glimmermists. I scraped some Viva Décor 3D Stamp Paint in White over a stencil with a palette knife and allowed to dry.

I applied the Butterfly Post Collage Stamp to some Ranger Gloss Paper and coloured with Distress Markers. I then stamped the corresponding butterflies from the Butterflies Stamp Set and the Butterfly Garden Collage Stamp onto acetate, cut out and added to the coloured stamped image with their wings lifted.

Butterfly Post Collage stamp - Layers of ink

Details from Anna-Karin: The butterflies are so pretty and script and postal elementsare always a favourite of mine. Use all the squares or just one, lots ofpossibilities. I made two cards.

For the first card, I stamped the Butterfly Post with Archival Jet Black ink on a piece of watercolour paper that had been painted with different circles in blue, yellow and green. A collage stamp like the Butterfly Post often looks great on top of such randomly coloured backgrounds. Two of the butterflies were stamped a second time, on Wendy Vecchi's Clearly For Art Modeling Film, cut out, heated with my heat gun, and shaped to form dimensional butterflies. They were stapled to the main panel.

For the card base, I used white cardstock, embossed with a postal embossing folder. The sentiment comes from the All Occasions set.

Here's a close-up of one of the dimensional butterflies. The modeling film keeps its shape perfectly.

On the second card, I stamped the Butterfly Post on watercolour paper with Archival Jet Black ink, which is waterproof, something that is necessary when you plan to use water. I used a paint brush dipped in water to pick up colours from Faber-Castell Gelatos and painted the butterflies pink and purple. For the background, I just painted yellow in a random manner. The sentiment comes from the All Occasions set.The background is embossed and sanded Core'dinations cardstock and I layered some cheesecloth in between the butterfly panel and the background.

Details from Melissa: Today's project uses my newest favorite stamp from Darkroom Door, the Butterfly Post Collage Stamp. It's simply sweet and enchanting and so much fun to stamp with. I began with a base layer of Kraft cardstock and then stamped my image using watermark ink. I then coated the images with two colors of embossing powder, Zing Blush and Zing Powder and just love the soft but detailed results.

Can you see why I love this stamp? It's so inspiring and appeals to my shabby, vintage, girlie-girl heart. :)

I wanted the focus to be on the beautiful images, so I didn't add too much besides a burlap flower, ribbon, heart, and a sentiment snipped from the Venetian Wordstrip.
