Hi stampers! It's Rachel here with a couple of cards using the new Boat Helm Eclectic Stamp! This stamp is such a great addition to the Eclectic Series!
This card shows a quick and easy way to use the Boat Helm. Simply stamp the Boat Helm onto light blue cardstock using Archival Coffee ink pad. Stamp the sentiment from Seaside Vol 1 Rubber Stamps underneath using the same ink pad. Sponge Walnut Stain Distress Ink around the edges of the cardstock and adhere to royal blue cardstock. Distress the edges of the royal blue cardstock using a paper distresser. Tie a reef knot around the left side using twine. Mount entire panel onto folded light blue card. Lightly tap the Walnut Distress ink pad directly onto the edges of the card to give it a weathered look.
Here's another card using the Boat Helm stamp:
Stamp the Seashells Background onto beige cardstock using Archival Coffee ink pad. Distress the edges with a paper distresser. Wrap brown netting around the centre of the stamped background panel and adhere in place on the back. Stamp the sentiment from the Sail Away Rubber Stamp Set onto beige cardstock using Archival Coffee ink pad. Trim to make a banner. Sponge the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Stamp the Boat Helm onto beige cardstock and trim around the image with small scissors. Adhere onto royal blue cardstock and trim again to leave a small border. Adhere the boat helm to the left side of the background. Adhere the sentiment banner over the netting, tucking it under the boat helm. Adhere the entire stamped panel onto a folded royal blue card.
