Hi there stampers! Today we are sharing projects using the Being Creative Quote Stamp! Adding a little creative time into each day or week is the perfect recipe for good health. I think this quote stamp serves as a good reminder that even a few minutes a day can have a positive effect on your mood and wellbeing!
First we have some cards by Connie Mercer:
Instructions:
1. Stamp on white cardstock using the Wood Grain Background Stamp. Trim and ink for shading.
2. Stamp Paint Splats on the front in random spots. Use several different colors of ink.
3. Stamp the Being Creative Quote on white cardstock in Blue ink. Cut the quote into word strips. Mount the word CREATIVE onto coloured cardstock. Mount stamped words over background and speckle with texture spray.
4. Punch corners out of matching pattern paper. Mount on Black cardstock and then adhere to card front.
Instructions:
1. Stamp on white cardstock using the Wood Grain Background Stamp. Trim and ink for shading.

Here's a card by Rachel Greig:
Instructions:
1. Stamp the Being Creative Quote Stamp onto white cardstock using Archival Jet Black ink pad. Randomly stamp some Paint Splats around the edge. Mount onto blue card.
2. Create a background using Dylusions Ink Sprays. Stamp the large Paint Splat in the corners with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink.
3. Mount onto white cardstock, then onto a folded white card to finish.
Teresa Abajo has used an old paint brush to bring some dimension to her card:
Instructions:
1. Stamp the quote onto grid paper using Archival ink Jet Black. Trim this down, distress edges then mat with grey cardstock.
2. Stamp portions of the quote onto a scrap of cardstock that has been spread with a medium layer of crackle texture paste, and a scrap of calico fabric. Adhere these scraps in place onto the matted quote.
3. Secure an old dirty paintbrush to the left hand side with a couple of black cord stitches, and add a stitched cross to the right hand side.Adhere this to a 10 x 14.3cm piece of grid paper then onto a white card.
Robyn Wood shares two great cards:
Instructions:
1. Stamp a white card base using the Darkroom Door Grid Background stamp and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Sponge lightly with Squeezed Lemonade and Peacock Feathers inks and set aside.
2. Stamp the Darkroom Door Stitched Threads Frame stamp onto some white cardstock using black Archival ink and tear around the edges. Stamp the corner that will end up as the lower, right-hand corner with a paint splat image from the Darkroom Door Paint Splats stamp set using Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink. Sponge with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink and attach to the card front at a slight angle.
3. Stamp the Darkroom Door Being Creative Quote stamp onto some white cardstock using Brilliance Graphite Black pigment ink and emboss with clear powder. Trim the image so that each phrase & some of the words are separated. Attach the word ‘life’ over the paint splat using foam tape and add the rest of the wording flat over the frame stamp. I find that putting some of the wording at an angle adds a bit of interest.
Instructions:
1. Stamp a lime green card base using the Darkroom Door Dots Background stamp and Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink and set aside.
2. Spray a piece of white cardstock with a mix of inks, I’ve used a shimmery, pale green and an orange. Allow to dry well. Stamp the piece with Darkroom Door Emulsion Frame and then Darkroom Door Being Creative Quote stamp using black Archival ink. Trim the layered image closely and distress the edges. Layer onto some bright orange card stock and distress the edges of that layer as well.
3. Stamp some white cardstock with the Darkroom Door Paint Brushes Eclectic stamp, colour a couple of the brushes and trim closely. Layer the brushes onto the lower, right-hand side and tie the panel with twine before affixing to card front.
