Hi there! Today we are sharing lots of different ways to use the new Bauble Stencil Set!
This stencil set consists of a Christmas bauble shape and a ribbon, which can be used together to create a hanging bauble with a ribbon on top. The stencil set also includes the shaped masks too which can be used to draw around, sponge around and use in many other ways.
Here’s a few card ideas using this stencil set:
This first card by Rachel Greig shows how you can sponge Peeled Paint Distress Ink through the bauble stencil onto a plain white card front to create some quick and easy Christmas cards! To add the ribbon, tap Distress Embossing Ink through the ribbon stencil area and then heat emboss the wet ink with Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder. This creates a beautiful metallic ribbon for the bauble! To finish the card, simply draw the string with a black fine marker and stamp the sentiment from Stitched Christmas Stamp Set in Archival Jet Black ink.
Here are some more card ideas by Suzz Czosek:
Suzz has sponged gold ink through the bauble stencil, then stamped the script from the Christmas Reindeer Stamp Set through the stencil and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Suzz used the same gold embossing to create the ribbon for the top of the bauble, and created this in a separate piece of card stock so it could be cut out and added to add more layers. It’s a beautiful effect!
Here is a similar card, this time adding the streamers from the Festive Ornaments Stamp Set onto the card front. Very festive!!
For this card, Suzz used the Snowflakes Background Stamp to stamp inside the bauble and added a real ribbon to the top. The card front was also splattered with gold ink spray to add some more colour! Suzz also stamped one of the vertical sentiments from the Festive Ornaments Stamp Set and added it to the side of the card. It looks wonderful!!
If you’d like to really make your baubles shine, here’s a fun way to do that! Simply press embossing ink or VersaMark ink inside the bauble to ink up the bauble shape and emboss with Silver Tinsel Embossing Powder! Repeat until you have covered the card stock how you want it. Add some real pieces of red twine or string. The sentiment is from the Brushed Christmas Vol 1 Stamp Set.
Here is a similar version, however this time the Snowflakes Background Stamp was stamped inside the baubles and embossed with Silver Tinsel Embossing Powder. Then Suzz placed the bauble mask over the baubles to stamp the script stamp from the Christmas Reindeer Stamp Set.
These are some beautiful card ideas from Suzz and ones you can create in bulk if needed! To read the full detailed instruction for each card, please visit Suzz’s blog here.
