We have added four new designs to our 'Arty' series of Collage Stamps and matching stencils! Each Collage Stamp and stencil can be used on it's own, or use the matching stamp and stencil together for easy colouring of the stamped image. They are great for adding layers and texture to your card making, art journals and more. Each stamp comes mounted on cling foam ready for use with a stamping block. You can watch a video here showing how they can be used together.
Here’s a few different ways this stamp can be used. Click on the images for more information about each project.
For this first project, Rachel stamped the Arty Scales Collage Stamp onto white cardstock using Archival Jet Black ink, then placed the stencil over the top and sponged Distress Inks through the stencil. Using the stencil makes it easy to colour the scales only and leave the outside white. The Hello circle is from the Simply Circles Stamp Set.
These next two cards by Belinda Spencer show how the stamp looks stamped in white and embossed in white embossing powder, then coloured with inks. Belinda stamped a few extra scales and added them on top to give it extra dimension. The fish are from the Under The Sea Stamp Set and the xo from the Small Sketched Alphabet Stamp Set.
Dani Choate used the Arty Scales Collage Stamp to create a little shell bikini top for her mermaid! Dani used the Scales Background Stamp to create the mermaid tail. So clever! The little flowers are from the Christmas Bush Stamp Set.
Here's a look at the Arty Scales stencil. This can be used with the stamp as we have shown here, but can also be used on it's own for sponging inks or paints to create more layers in your projects. You can also draw around the scales with a pen or pencil to do your own doodling and other fun techniques!
