The Arty Pods Collage Stamp and matching stencil create a fun organic style design on your projects! The Collage Stamp and stencil can be used separately, or use them together for easy colouring of the stamped image. They are great for adding layers and texture to your card making, art journals and more. You can watch a video here showing how they can be used together.
Here’s a few different ways this stamp can be used. Click on the images for more information about each project.
For this first project, Rachel stamped the Arty Pods Collage Stamp with Archival Jet Black Ink onto white card stock and placed the matching Arty Pods stencil over the top to sponge Distress Inks through the stencil to colour the pods. You can watch how Rachel did that here. The sentiment is from the Celebrate Sentiment Stamp.
On this card, Autumn Clark has created a gold embossed background by stamping the Arty Pods Collage Stamp in black ink, then placing the stencil over the top and tapping an Embossing Ink through the stencil in random areas to emboss with gold embossing powder. It gives a wonderful metallic effect for the background! Autumn used the Creative People Quote Stamp on top.
For these next few examples, Megan Quinlan has created some fun collage fodder by offsetting the Arty Pods Stencil to the Collage Stamp, giving it a retro feel. See how Megan created this fodder here. These images show how the fodder can be used in different art journal pages.
Here's a look at the Arty Pods stencil. This can be used with the stamp as we have shown here, but can also be used on it's own for sponging inks or paints to create more layers in your projects. You can also draw around the scales with a pen or pencil to do your own doodling and other fun techniques!
