Another popular stamp set from our latest release is the 1920's Chic stamp set!
Such elegant ladies! Here's some ideas on how to use this stamp set:
Details from Sarah:
To create the background I adhered random pieces of Tim Holtz tissue tape to some red cardstock. I then stamped 2 of the stamps from the set over the top with black ink.
The lady was stamped with black ink on red cardstock and embossed. I then stamped her in black ink on white cardstock, cut out the face, arms, and feet and adhered them over the top of the image on red. I cut her out and mounted her to the background using foam mounting tape.
Here's an ATC from MIchelle:
And you may remember seeing this card from Godelieve... so stunning, always worth another look!
Sarah has created another card here too:
I created the background using papers from Graphic 45.
The ladies were stamped onto white cardstock with black ink. I then stamped them onto red cardstock with black ink and embossed them with black embossing powder. I cut the dresses and hats off the red images and adhered them in place on the white images. The ladies were then cut out and adhered to the card front with foam mounting tape.
Love all these projects! (and notice they're all in red?) I think the quote 'When in doubt wear red' certainly inspired that! Of course you an always use other colours, but gee they look pretty smart in red!
Hope this has given you some ideas on how to use these stylish ladies from 1920's Chic!1920's Chic stamp set ideas!
