Vintage Photobooth Christmas Cards

Darkroom Door - Monday, September 13, 2010

Sarah Schwerin from our Creative Team has created a set of fun vintage Christmas cards using the new Photobooth Friends & Lovers sheet along with some rubber stamps!

How cool are these!! Here's some info from Sarah:

Darkroom Door Products used:

* Star background stamp
* Christmas Reindeer stamp set
* "Friends and Lovers" Photobooth images.
* Walnut Stain Distress ink.

I created this set of Christmas cards for a class that I taught recently at Erina Scrapbook Store.

The card bases are all made from "Crimson" Bazzill cardstock, and the finished cards measure 4x6".

For the backgrounds, I stamped the Stars background stamp onto Kraft cardstock using Rose Red Versacolor ink, then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I inked around the edges using Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I attached Santa Hat brads to the heads of each of the people from the "Friends and Lovers" Photobooth images and they were mounted to the card fronts with double sided foam mounting tape.

I stamped images from the Christmas Reindeer stamp set onto Kraft cardstock, and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. The elements were attached to the card fronts along with Red satin ribbon.

These are fabulous Sarah.... such a fun way to send a Christmas greeting! Thanks for sharing these with us :)

Oh wow they are so cool. Those santa hat brads just finish them off :-) That background stamp is beautiful.
