Scrapbooking with Line Art and Texture Stamps!

Darkroom Door - Saturday, August 16, 2014

Hi, Connie here with a couple of scrapbooking layouts and a card, using the new Line Art Stamps by Darkroom Door. The beautiful faces of the Line Art girls inspired this layout.

I stamped the faces on white cardstock, using Ranger Archival Jet Black ink and then framed them out with the Polaroid Frame Stamp. The Flourish Texture Stamp is stamped on the corners of the Polaroid Frame. The background was created using the Weathered Stripes and World Map Background stamps.

This next layout is using the Leafy lady stamp with chalks.  I stamped the image on paper and used the chalks to color her. After she was complete, I sprayed the image with a Fixatif  (so the chalk wouldn't move or smear).  I then fussy cut her out and added her to my page.  I stamped directly on the page and repeated the process for the chalking.

I have one last project, a card. I used the same technique as I described above - chalks! They are so fun and forgiving :)
