A first for our family

We’ve taken Darkroom Door into the Shop Unlimited studio for our first live show—and we’re so excited to share this next step with you.

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce our stamps on screen, share a first look at our upcoming release and bring some creative ideas to life with a couple of live demonstrations.

We’ve brought you along behind the scenes with a few favourite moments from the studio, close-ups of the demonstrations and plenty of handmade inspiration.

Stamps, samples & a new audience.

During the live show, we showcased the new release arriving on 17 September 2026, alongside a display of stamped projects. Seeing the designs together, from the rubber stamps themselves to the finished cards, was a lovely way to share what Darkroom Door is all about.

We loved having the chance to show the stamps in use, talk through ideas and share the possibilities with everyone watching.

At the craft table

A little ink. Plenty of inspiration.

Of course, we couldn’t visit the studio without getting creative! We fitted in a couple of live demonstrations, showing the stamps in action and sharing ideas to try at your own craft table.

These photographs capture some of the details along the way—from blending colour and working with masks to adding those finishing touches that bring a stamped image to life.

Ideas to spark your next project.

Here’s a closer look at some of the samples from our studio visit: expressive owl eyes, layered butterflies, a colourful red panda and a playful blue-and-white design. We hope they give you a little inspiration for your next handmade card or mixed-media project.

One trip. Three episodes. Lots to share.

Our visit wasn’t just about the live show. We also prerecorded two additional episodes, ready to share more stamping inspiration with you.

Recording the extra shows during the same visit means we can make the trip to the studio once a month, while having more creative content to share between visits.

We’re really excited about this new part of our journey and can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on. Thank you to the Shop Unlimited team for welcoming us, and to everyone who joined us for our first live show.
