New Photo Stamp & Background Stamp Sample Cards

Darkroom Door - Friday, November 26, 2010

Our new Photo Stamps and Background Stamps are now shipping... and they're quite literally flying out the door!! We've been busy manufacturing them here in the warehouse and shipping them out to customers and stores and our distributors worldwide.

In between packing all the orders, I've been bursting to have a play with them myself, but have only managed a couple of quick sample cards using the Motorcycle and Flower Basket stamps:

- Flower Basket image was stamped onto glossy cardstock with Archival Jet Black inkpad.
- Coloured in with Marvy Le Plumes
- Simply adhered to a folded mustard coloured card! Easy peasy!

- Stamped the Motorcycle onto mat whote cardstock with Archival Jet Black ink.
- Sponged image with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. (Perhaps a bit heavy in top left corner. Whoopsies. Oh well. More grunge!)
- Stamped quote from Prague Vol 1 stamp set in top left corner. Adhered to black cardstock with antique gold brads, then onto folded Kraft cardstock.
- Lightly sponge Walnut Stain Distress Ink around the edge of the card to finish.

Ta da! There's just a couple of quick samples...

I've also had a quick play with some of the new Background Stamps:

I'm LOVING these new designs and have so many ideas for them!

- Stamp Weathered Stripes onto light blue card using Archival Cobalt Inkpad.
- Sponge Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges of the card.
- Stamp house and quote from Home Sweet Home stamp set onto light green cardstock, trim and sponge with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Adhere to navy blue cardstock, and again onto light yellow cardstock. Ink edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
- Wrap twine around left side of cardstock and adhere to the front of the card.

Here's another card:

- Stamp Flourish Background onto yellow cardstock with embossing ink and emboss with Antiquities embossing powder.
- Adhere wide two tone blue ribbon along the bottom and the striped ribbon over the middle.
- Paint chipboard label with Ice Blue Precious Metal Colour. Stamp quote from Chocolatier stamp set with Archival Jet Black ink. Adhere to card using foam adhesive.
- Distress the edges of two Art de fleur Montage images and tuck underneath the chipboard as shown.

There you go! Hope this gives you a couple of ideas :) Can't wait to share more with you!!

Hope you all have a wonderful crafty weekend!
