We have some more fabulous projects by Fiona Shultz to share with you!! Take it away Fiona...

Starbright ATC's

There are two designs here which are similar.  The white stars were stamped and embossed on black base cardstock.  Using white cardstock, trim it slightly smaller and cut away a section to reveal the white star (I achieved this by stamping the star again as a template to cut out of the white cardstock).  Colour the white cardstock with Distress Ink, stamp the Christmas Definition in black archival repeatedly and attach to base.  Add word strip words mounted on black and an extra black embossed star.  For the other version, stamp and emboss stars in black on white cardstock and trim.  Colour white cardstock, stamp the Christmas Definition in black archival repeatedly and attach to black base layer.  Add the black star, the word strip phrase, and a white embossed star.

Shrinky Christmas Cards

Using dark blue cardstock as a base, I clear embossed the Background floral stamp, and used white paint and the resist technique – I wanted a bit of a distressed look, so I didn’t wait for my paint to dry completely before removing the excess from the embossed area.  Edge this in black ink and attach ribbon and ribbon slide, then attach to the layers (black then white, or white then black).  The flowers are die cut Tim Holtz tattered florals – the base one has been stamped with the Christmas Definition stamp randomly in black and edged in black, the upper one edged in black only.  I scrunched up some lace and sewed it to the flowers.  The centre piece of the flowers is made using the Noël stamps stamped on to Shrinky Dink plastic which was coloured with Derwent pencils before shrinking.  Finally, attach the layers of flowers to the card base, and add the Yuletide word strip phrases.

These are great Fiona!! Totally fun & fabulous!!! Love the bright ATC set, and how cute do those collage stamps look all tiny from the shrinky dinks! :) Woot - not long now until Christmas... anyone made a little (or big) wish list for gifts? I know the season is not all about gifts, but hey, one can have a little fun wish-list shopping! After all, 'tis the season to be jolly!

Great cards, Fiona, & what a great idea to stamp the collaged images onto shink-plastic! As for a wish list, Rachel, I think Santa will have trouble fitting in all the bits & pieces that are on my list, but I have been good this uear (mostly LOL) I promise :)
