Forever Card with Floral Background

Ready for some more Melissa goodness? Of course you are!!!! How perfect is this for Valentine's Day (or a wedding card)...


Darkroom Door Supplies:
Floral – Background Stamp 
Ornate Elements – Rubber Stamps 
Venetian – Wordstrips 
Distress Ink Pad – Antique Linen 
Distress Ink Pad – Worn Lipstick 
Other Supplies Used:
Vintage sheet music
October Afternoon paper
Melissa Frances glitter chipboard wings
Decorative scissors
Glimmer Mist
Decorative Scissors

  • Create card base and edge with acrylic paint.  Ink to distress.
  • Stamp Floral Background stamp on cream paper, trim to fit center of card and trim right and bottom edges with decorative scissors.  Ink to distress and adhere.
  • Cut a strip of vintage sheet music to fit down center of card, ink, and adhere.
  • Stamp frame on cream paper, cut out, wrap and tie with ribbon, attach a piece of trim along bottom edge, and adhere to center of card.
  • Cut out a block to fit center of frame from coordinating paper, ink, and adhere to frame using dimensional adhesive.
  • Ink edges of chipboard wings and adhere to center of frame.  Top with a flower that has been coated with Glimmer Mist.
  • Cut out “Forever” strip from Wordstrip, ink to distress, and adhere near bottom of card.

Oh yes, love her cards. Distressed chique with gorgeous embellishments, a joy to look at.
