Cupcake Stamp Card Ideas

Darkroom Door - Friday, July 12, 2019

Hi there! We have recently released a new series of Eclectic Stamps! One of the new stamps in this release is the Cupcake

Today we have 3 card ideas to share from Belinda Spencer:

Belinda has used a monochromatic look to her cards and has paired the Cupcake with the Candles Eclectic Stamp, along with the Chevron Background Stamp and Circle Stencil Set. The sentiment is from the Party Time Stamp Set

This next card is made in the same way, but using pink ink colours with the Splatter Background Stamp and Alphabet Medley Stamp for the sentiment.

For this card Belinda used all three ink colours on the icing of the cupcake and used the Harlequin Background Stamp and another sentiment from the Party Time Stamp Set

To read more details on how these cards were created, please visit Belinda’s blog post here.

These are just a few ideas to show how this stamp can be used on your cards! If you’d like to see more Eclectic Stamp projects, check out our Eclectic Stamps Pinterest Board!

Such detachment of artwork from society resulted in the counter-reaction in the shape of the adventuresome movements. Avant-garde originated from the realm of Modernism, however was a type of this protesting gesture against it. Modernism, driven by the notion of the autonomy of art, has significantly transformed its standards, yet it has not evolved into the critics of the institution of art itself, and, broadly speaking, didn't break up with all the tradition, employing classical genre strategy and subjects.

Defining abstract art is not a straight easy task. Unlike many other styles, abstract art does not depict objects as they appear in real life. Before the foundation of this style, painters focused on illustrating human civilization and the world of nature. Abstract art experiment with the use of texture, tone, and light perception. Through abstract art, artists express their feelings rather than particular objects or scenes.
