Christmas Script Texture Stamp Ideas

Hi there! Today we’d like to share some ideas using the Christmas Script Texture Stamp! This is a great stamp for adding layers and writing to your Christmas projects!

This stamp is created from Rachel Greig’s handwriting and contains lots of different words about Christmas, so when you are looking to add some script or text to your Christmas projects this is a great stamp to use! It can be used as a main feature on your card and can be used with many of our Christmas themed stamps

For this card Godelieve has used an embossing resist technique by stamping the Christmas Script Texture Stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossing with clear powder, then spraying over the top with Distress Oxide Sprays. The sprays will resist the embossed stamping, so it will remain white while the rest of the background gets coloured with the spray. It’s a wonderful effect! Godelieve then used the Reindeer Stencil Set and used the Cotton Candy Speckle Embossing Powder to emboss the reindeer shape. Fabulous texture!! To read more about Godelieve’s card, click here.

Another beautiful card by Godelieve, this time using Pure Shine Dylusions Shimmer Spray over the solid star stencil, and then the Christmas Script Texture Stamp is stamped over the top with Thistle Archival Ink. A warm and pretty effect! Read more about how Godelieve created this card here.

Anneke has created this pretty Christmas card by stamping the Christmas Script Texture Stamp onto a Kraft card base with white paint, then layering patterned paper on the left side before adding a tree from the Christmas Trees stamp set. The sentiment is from the Yuletide Greetings Stamp Set. Read more about Anneke’s card here.

Here’s a similar card, this time stamping the Christmas Script in Tea Rose Archival Ink onto a white card base. The tree was created by stamping the Mesh Background Stamp onto white card stock and cutting a tree shape to add to the card. Read more about how Anneke created this card here.

Here’s a card where Anneke has used the Christmas Script stamp as the focal point. Anneke has used red paint to stamp the Christmas Script on a white card base. Then added a leftover strip of stamped Mesh Background from her other cards, added some twill ribbon and flowers to complete! A great way to use up little bits and pieces in your stash! These are just a few ideas to show how this stamp can be used on your cards! If you’d like to see more Texture Stamp projects, check out our Texture Stamps Pinterest Board!
