Mini Calendar Card

Darkroom Door - Sunday, July 02, 2017
Hi there! It's Rachel Greig here today with a birthday card using the Mini Calendar Eclectic Stamp! This stamp can be used for planners, scrapbook pages and journals to highlight dates. However I thought it would be fun to create a birthday card where I circled the actual birthdate of the recipient of this card!

Instructions:
1. Ink up the Abstract Triangles Background Stamp using Cracked Pistachio and Broken China Distress Oxide inks. Stamp onto a folded Kraft card.
2. Tear some old book pages and colour up with Distress Oxide inks. Adhere to card using gel medium.
3. Stamp two flowers from Fine Flowers Vol 2 stamp set onto watercolour paper and colour with Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks. Adhere to card.
4. Stamp the Mini Calendar onto white card stock using Archival Jet Black ink and circle the birthdate with Scribble Sticks. Adhere to card.
5. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Happy Birthday stamp set onto white card stock using Archival Jet Black ink and trim to create a banner. Ink the edges with the same ink. Adhere to card using foam adhesive.
